Celestat (from the German. Zielstätte) - members of Cracow place of exercise marksmen's society. Celestat originally was located in the vicinity of Gate Mikołajska, and later at the palace in Lobzow. Activity
marksmen's fraternity has been suspended since 1794, to the 30s
nineteenth century, which was purchased at Lubicz Street mansion with a
garden, the present Park Strzelecki. This area is built mansion, which today is called the Celestat. It is a branch of the Historical Museum of Krakow and houses a
permanent exhibition of the Krakow The history of the Fowler
Brotherhood.The 4 halls with a total area of approx. 400 square meters are exposed to all sorts of memorabilia and documents.• Bracka room (59.9 m²) shows the recent history of the brotherhood.• Armory (16 m²) presents the military: bows, shotguns and rapiers.• Skarbczyk (7 m²) contains a collection of particularly valuable memorabilia, including pewter tableware from the eighteenth century, the two
eighteenth-century chests, goldsmith (including tea set from Franz
Joseph I), trophies, medals, badges and more.•
Strzelecka Hall (320 m²) was established in a period of development in
the years 1874-1875 through its delivery to the earlier palace. 6 m high, divided by a colonnade. On the ceiling are hung portraits of the kings of cocks. The
hall is exposed to the most valuable item - silver hens, which
according to legend was told to give the Brotherhood Sigismund Augustus
in 1565. Besides him in the hall they are exhibited coins, medals, photos and other memorabilia.
